It is the time of the year to endure 22 miles in the beautiful rural South Shropshire and raise funds for our ongoing work in Myanmar.
Two charity mental health clinics we support, one in Mandalay and one in Amarapura, are serving the local communities and beyond.
We continue with our mental health training for GPs in Myanmar, as our sustained effort in widening the circle of case detection and basic treatment for those who cannot and need not go to the specialists.
We also support the psychiatrists in training by donating textbooks for their libraries in Yangon and Mandalay.
Our intended plan for mental health information leaflets in Myanmar language will be implemented in next few months too.
We have been able to do all this work only because of fantastic support from all of you. We are very grateful for your donation/ sponsorship for our effort in this walk and in our activities in Myanmar.
Please stay in touch and we will keep you informed of our progress.
